The Morgan fireplace insert is as impressive as its namesake the Morgan horse, the Vermont state animal. Like the steed, the Morgan fireplace insert produces a combination of both power and beauty. The 1.7 cubic foot firebox produces 40,000 BTUs of heat and can heat up to 1,400 square feet. The thick soapstone panels that line the inside of the firebox gives the Morgan the thermal mass that separate HearthStone stoves from other products. The combination of cast iron and soapstone will add several hours of heat life to the already strong burn time of up to 8 hours.

The large glass door on the front of the unit provides an unobstructed view of the full firebox. The primary and secondary air systems combine for dazzling fire viewing on high and low settings. The non-catalytic combustion system produces an efficient burn; producing only 4.3 grams of particulate matter per hour, it easily meets the stringent requirements mandated by the EPA.

The Morgan has the features you'll like. The front door is reversible. In minutes, it can be changed to fit your needs. The stove is easy to operate. A single easy to use air control is used to set the burn rate, no complicated bypass damper to worry about. A secondary air baffle removes easily making the liner installation and cleaning more trouble free than many units. An adjustable flue collar and variable depth on the hearth allow for installation in a large variety of fireplaces, including zero clearance fireplaces. Accessories include a spark screen, mantle shield, surround caps, and blower. The Morgan is made to meet your needs.

The Morgan

1.7 cubic foot firebox
Holds up to 36 lbs. of wood. The Morgan's firebox and large front door allows logs up to 18" in length to load easily.

Single air-intake lever/stove control
Insert operation is easy; performance more consistent.

Unmatched fire viewing
Air entering the firebox through the insert's secondary air tubes ignites the gases rising off the burning wood. The resulting light and flames provide dazzling fire viewing, even when the fire is burning at a low rate.

Non-catalytic combustion system
Clean burning, more complete combustion provides more heat from less wood, greater efficiency; reduced smoke and creosote build-up.
